Walter LemonFace on the Big Screen

On the last weekend in February, I performed music for Walter LemonFace shows – at the Stockton Arc’s cinema space – with members of the fantastic 154 Collective. The shows were incredibly fun, and we kept the improvisation element strong, which felt like a huge triumph given the demands of a new, bigger setting! It resulted in some varied, bizarre, and exciting performances.

It was fun for me to use this opportunity to employ motion detectors (Leap Motion) as a way of creating more complex soundscapes, with the technology helping me to do so in an extra expressive way.

The performances were incredibly well received, and further full cinema shows in the North East are planned for the end of March, so keep checking back for info, as there’s much more to come…
