Nicolas works through a mix of sonic mediums, from electronic scores / sound design, to traditional pen-and-paper acoustic compositions and everything in between. He has written music for theatre, musical, operatic, choral, and dance productions that have toured throughout the country and been performed at venues such as The Southbank Centre, The Bridgewater Hall, and The Royal Exchange Theatre. His music has been played on local and national radio and his electronic, interactive sound designs have been part of multi art-form exhibitions.

Nicolas also writes and releases original songs when he has free time and frequently performs classical guitar concerts for audiences, sharing his favourite pieces from the repertoire alongside his original compositions.
