SAND HOUSE

Working with: The Sand House Charity

In late 2024 had the pleasure of sound designing and composing for Sand House, an audio drama produced by The Sand House Charity, adapted from their 2018 stage play.

The story explores the rise and fall of Doncaster's unique underground mansion, carved from sandstone in the 19th century. Working with a fantastic team including writer Peter Spafford, and director Olwen May, we brought a hidden piece of local history to life, complete with ghosts, protests, and mysterious underground carvings.

Recorded at Chapel FM and now streaming on Spotify, YouTube, and all major platforms. This was a lovely project to be a part of and one that gave space for the sound and music to recreate the atmosphere of this lost heritage site.
