Love is the Strangest Thing

Working with: Streetwise Opera, The Orchestra of Opera North

It was fantastic to be commissioned to compose a second micro opera for Streetwise Opera in late 2025. The piece was a result of six workshops with Streetwise performers in Salford and resulted in the piece ‘Love is the Strangest Thing’. It was performed in early 2026 at the Lowry, Salford alongside The Orchestra of Opera North. As always, it was a joy to work with the Streetwise performers and team.
